Six Mile Creek Emigrant 10.54 Up/Back

Overview: This trail has easy parking. From what I recall it starts out gradual with some road and 2 track and gets steeper with a few quite steep climbs, and turns to trails and later open land as you go up. Panoramic views of Paradise Valley from up high. There was one section where it seemed fairly easy to get lost. This was a 10.54 mile up and back ride. Other options available.

Map/GPS tracks: Use drop-downs to change map options (topo, satellite, etc.)
NOTE: AN ERROR EXISTS IN THE GPS FILE EARLY IN THE RIDE JUST PAST WHERE GOLD PRIZE CREEK SPLITS WHERE THE TRACKS APPEAR AS A PERFECTLY STRAIGHT LINE. ANOTHER EXISTS LATER ON WHERE YOU ALSO CAN SEE A STRAIGHT LINE IF YOU ZOOM IN. In both cases follow the adjoining track instead. Track also includes a side-jaunt where we took a wrong turn.

Distance: Our ride was 10.54 miles with a couple of side jaunts and milling around at the highest point in our trek. Other options exist. Terrain was very steep to the east of our northeastern-most track and we did not attempt to climb further.

Elevation Gain: 3,165 ft

Technicality: A mix. Some 2-track easy roads and some fairly technical steep climbs

Difficulty: Easy to moderately difficult

Parking: Easy.

Water: Some water in lower sections (possibly seasonal)

Season: Impassable in winter.

Shared Use: Have ridden there twice and never seen anyone
